wonderful stay at an exceptional location with a great staff

despite the overall well kept property and attention to detail, cleanliness what really stands out is how kind and helpful the entire staff was. We interacted more with the buffet staff and Peter, the barmen - truly exceptional!

some breakfast items can be improved, perhaps it was jus tnot a good day for those: fruit salad and the scrambled eggs.

Nice hotel, friendly staff and we will stay there again

the room was fine, in a building separate from the main hotel - very clean and comfy Breakfast was good and we visited the bar in the evening too - try their own make of beer Wapen of Putten - we can recommend that Hotel is easy to get to and has plenty of parking - close to the town too

Nothing - we will stay there again if we are in that neighbourhood

Good location, good value, good staff the only negative being that the grounds were poorly maintained giving a poor impr

No fuss basic accommodation that was well situated for getting around locally and beyond.

Sad to see the outside areas poorly maintained and plainly not to the level of previous years.

A quiet stay in a simple room on exceptional grounds right at the edge of a lovely small town.

The grounds of the property were very nice. It is settled within what feels like a tall and dense forest. There is a walking path around the grounds that was quite nice.

The room was very spartan, not uncomfortable in the slightest, but not much personality. Very basic and straightforward. This is not a complaint so much as an expectation setter.

Good weekend stopover

Well equipped, with good bar, breakfasts and parking. close to the centre in Putten.

Ensuite was fine but it’s fitting out looking a bit old. The hot water was almost dangerously hot and the basin had no plug.

Nice location

Rooms were clean and comfortable. The property location is good. Breakfast was good and had good options taking into consideration the COVID restrictions. The breakfast is provided as individual packets during COVID time and its not a buffet.

The room was on ground floor and a group outside was partying till late. We could hear them clearly inside the room and that made it difficult to sleep. For EV vehicles, the charging station is 200m away near the supermarket. This could be mentioned clearly in the facilities.

What was the highlight of Hof van Putten

Excellent location for a base to visit the Gelderland cities and sites.

While Putten isn't exactly the place to hang out, it was a perfect location to visit the surrounding locations of interest, i.e. Harderwijk, Elburg, Kröller-Müller Museum, etc. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent room (Junior Suite), and a very good breakfast and with a large dining area (for social distancing). Quiet setting, in a park like area, but still walkable to Putten, although it's better to go a short distance to Ermelo where there are a nice number of restaurants and quality. Definitely would stay again when visiting the area.

Comfortable room in vicinity of the forest

Breakfast was nice and room was clean. In 5 minutes you can arrive to the forest where you can hike. We had a nice little patio in front of the room but weather was too cold and rainy to sit there.

The restaurant's menu is very basic (burger, stake and chicken sate) and there were only 2 options for vegetarians.

Very Good

Simple and clean rooms with terrace surrounded by greenery.

Noise isolation could be a lot better. We could hear sounds from water in pipes whenever shower or toilet flush is used in adjacent rooms.
